R3L — Three-Phase Smoothing Reactors

Three-phase smoothing (choke) reactors that limit di/dt, ripple current, and voltage notching on variable-frequency drives. R3L/M motor-side reactors (voltage drop dV 2%) protect the motor and reduce dv/dt stress; R3L/R grid-side reactors (dV 4%) reduce harmonic distortion drawn from the supply and protect the drive front end. Rated from 15 to 500 A at 400 V 50 Hz with Isat = 1.5 x In; copper windings on the lower ratings, aluminium on the larger ones.
